Note the Taoist sages held organized religion in contempt and disrespect, so it is no wonder that this glyph equates sutras and other religious holy writings with menstrual rags, and holy saints as buggers…indeed, some were, some are still.
　With some good reasons, the Taoist sages thought of organized religions as being operated mostly for the selfish purposes of the shamans or other leading figureheads, hence an additional meaning, the GUIDING PRINCIPLE OF RELIGION, and use as a replacement for HOLY PERSON. In fact, themes of a 'clay potter' or 'master weaver' are extant in many religions. Specifically, the sages ridiculed Buddhists for their homosexual practices as「threadbare guiding principles, working between seams of cloth and flesh, fluids streaming into soil.」A major focus of many high-profile religious figures today is exemplified by the Catholic pope's recent apologies for widespread and covered-up sex scandals (but it's not only the Catholics, remember, not by a long shot).
　Perhaps it is mere coincidence that modern churches with patron Francis Xavier are openly homosexual…or perhaps it isn't. Francis Xavier arrived as the first Jesuit missionary to Asia, but after arriving in Japan struggled for the remainder of his life to learn kanji, perhaps because he began the practice of creating convoluted explanations for glyphs in order to conceal the true meanings of elements. He also wished to cover up the truth so that no one from the West would learn the about Japanese ways at that time:

　While not condoning or saying whether these behaviors are correct, the Chinese of course were far less hypocritical throughout the ages regarding homosexuality, pedophilia, and zooerastia:
