ROBUST as in a powerful mouth never becoming weary, with the shaman's service providers having to exercise tongues and mouths daily with clientele…but when「multiple service providers begin to flatter」then it may be time to be a bit WORRIED about the truth of the matter. Conversely,「flattering multiple service providers, concubines」who have been depressed may cheer them somewhat. DEPRESSED as in what the citizenry talks about when forced to speak. The「confused and stupid who are incited into action」can be TOUGH and strong, but most often are misguided and only cause UNHAPPY WORRY and depression. The confused and stupid who speak out can be robust, but seldom offer anything constructive other than gossip and so-called fake news. On it goes.「Masses of people stirred to action as a pretext or excuse to hide the true reason for doing something」suggests that most folks want something done to cure an evil or ill only when it seems they themselves will be affected, and don't mind too much when the afflicted are not among them, since「it's not too hard to get along with somebody else's troubles, they don't make you lose any sleep at night」[--Steve Goodman].

Always keep in mind that these glyphs most likely were originally designed by groups of clever old men as vulgar riddles for their own entertainment (see 籒 for that), representing Chinese society many thousands of years ago, but intended NOT as a written or spoken language when created. If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system! Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles? Yes! It is, and often with multiple correct answers to each riddle, the same as is true today. Sex had no shame in ancient China. Why would it? But, have there been necessary rewrites and altered explanations of the original elemental meanings over the centuries?

No one is suggesting these glyphs depict contemporary life in China, Japan, or anywhere else. This site describes glyph meanings, not people. These glyphs however, describe many and various things, including people, long before there were any notions of becoming politically incorrect.
