「Wood, woody」with「smell.」…the LAUREL crown has long been used to denote the best among contenders, as the best butt plugger (?). Sources list other species, such as CASSIA (similar to cinnamon) and KATSURA. The connection with these tree species and butt plugs may be due to the shape of their respective seed pods. Folks who enjoy butt-plugging may have also used cassia for health reasons to treat infections from torn anal tissues:

　Katsura wood is exceptionally smooth with no grain burrs, and so is used to make boards for igo, or「Go boards.」…perhaps the fine smoothness also suited its use as BUTT PLUGS. Katsura is also known as the Japanese Judas tree, and Judas of course was the guy who purportedly shafted Jesus in the ass, figuratively speaking. So-called KNIGHTS or SAMURAI WARRIORS in Japan were raging homosexuals and acted as advertising sponsors offering testimonials, and, as company spokesmen for butt plug manufacturers of the day.
