「性交の最中に、腰布の周りに20本ほどの勃起した丸まった陰茎を持つ人物」が「体液の流れ」を伴って、領主が后宮の部屋に入ると、遅延が発生します。そのような群衆の中をかきわけて進むと、皆が寵愛を受けたいと思って領主の動きを遅らせようとするので、妨げられ、動きが遅くなります。
「帯」は、乳房を縛り、平らに見せるための幅広の帯として使われます。近代まで、アジアでは、大きな乳房は少ー恥ずかしいことだったようです。長い帯で乳房を平らに縛るのは簡単ではありませんが、それが「鈍い、遅れている、動きが遅い、妨げられている」という意味を表しているのかもしれません。乳児の授乳前と授乳中、そして離乳まで乳房は著しく大きくなります。乳房を小さく見せたいのであれば、この時期に帯を結ぶのが最も一般的な方法かもしれません。淀んだという意味は、腐っているというよりは、活動していないことと関係があると思います。着物の帯や帯（脇の下に巻いている）から汗をしっかり乾かしていないために生じる淀んだ悪臭を指しているのかもしれません。または、「液体が流れる」というのは、暑い夏の日に漏れた母乳を指しているのかもしれません。温かいタンパク質が好気性細菌と結合して少し臭くなり始めたのかもしれません。母親が何らかの理由で乳児に授乳できなかったり、授乳が遅れたり、予定より遅れたりしたのかもしれません。「残る、留まる」というのは、おそらく、胸が今は動じない状態にあり、着物の中でバタバタしていないことを指しているのだろう。

Wading through such a crowd, all wanting to be the favored one and wishing to slow down the lord will be HINDERED, SLOW-MOVING.
　「Flowing fluids」with「obi」as a wide sash used to tie breasts and make them appear flat. Large breasts were a bit embarrassing in Asia it seems, until the modern age. Tying one's breasts flat with a long obi sash is not simple, perhaps accounting for the meaning SLUGGISH, DELAYED, SLOW-MOVING, HINDERED. Breasts noticeably enlarge prior to and while nursing an infant until weaning and if striving to appear small, then during this time might be the most common time of sash tying. The meaning of STAGNANT has more to do with inactivity than being rotten, let's hope. Might refer to the STAGNANT stench created by not thoroughly drying the sweat from one's kimono sash or obi (worn almost under the arms). Or the「liquid flowing」could have referred to leaked breast milk on a hot summer's day that might have started smelling a bit as the warm protein combined with aerobic bacteria. The mother may have been HINDERED from feeding her nursing infant for some reason, feeding was DELAYED and OVERDUE, and so on and so forth. REMAIN, STAY would perhaps be referring to the breasts now in an unflappable situation and not flopping about inside the kimono.
