Not all mothers live on bare mountains, but all may express disappointment with their sons from time to time and in particular after catching some sort of infection at a brothel,「glans in a decrepit state.」…not everyone has a wife, but most young folks still have a mother who may cause added torment and in particular if living at home with her, the RESIDENCE OF ONE'S MOTHER, that is, the boy gets NO WOODY.
　「Glans in a decrepit state」also describes someone at the home of his mother, unable in many cases to freely boink his sisters, ewes, a younger male sibling, or the mother, and perhaps not the kitchen slaves, either for that matter, as apparently was the norm in dynastic China based on other glyphs.
　「Mountain in decrepit state」is one denuded, one that was stripped of trees by humans, but later may be covered by grasses, a DENUDED MOUNTAIN.「Glans in a decrepit state」would also become denuded (屼) as surrounding skin sloughed off or detached as a result of chancres, syphilitic pox, and so on.

Always keep in mind that these glyphs were originally created by groups of bored old men as vulgar riddles and analogies for their own entertainment (see 籒 for that) and represented Chinese society many thousands of years ago, and not as a written or spoken language. If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system. Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles? Yes! It is! Sex had no shame in ancient China. Why would it? And now, there is a cover-up. No one is suggesting these glyphs depict contemporary life in China, Japan, or anywhere else.
