Right element itself means「responsibility, liability, blame」and perhaps depicting the action of being「responsible, liable」for completely submerging something in a「liquid」and leaving it there implies that there would always be a proper time to remove the items from the liquid. Once something was IMMERSED, SUBMERGED for pickling, dyeing, or any other reason, eventually it must be drawn out of the solution. Marinated for a long while, but then removed from the marinade. Dunked into the dye, then rinsed.
　Alternatively,「flowing fluids」of「prick with fleshpot」refers to EVIL INFLUENCE, SEX ADDICTION, and so on.
　The phallic shape of cucumbers, Asian eggplant, Asian radishes, green or purple or yellow-white color, slimy feel, bumpy withered skin, covered with herbs, strong smell and taste of PICKLES are clearly being likened to the characteristics of a gonorrhea-infected penis wrapped in a poultice for many hours or days. Perhaps a source of the English expression,「in a pickle.」
　「PICKLED」is an expression of the last century that referred to intoxication, noting that alcohol is in fact toxic when consumed in large quantities (the root of the word 'intoxicated').
