Some contrary meanings are listed by external sources: a person「standing in the wind」is not moving, generally, or else the person would not be standing…and most of the time when there is any wind, it is a gentle breeze, yet the Japanese meanings are QUICKLY AND SUDDENLY, RUSHING. Elements as「swells of wind」make more sense, or with glyph elements depicting a「wind that is like an erection」perhaps in a RUSHING and GUSHING gust, and gives the impression of SWIFTNESS. Not to be ignored however are the SWOOSHING sounds of dry-shafted male mentulomania. Added Chinese meanings of FORLORN and MELANCHOLY, and SOFTLY flowing by SMOOTHLY as the sound of the wind passing by could refer to the loneliness of a single standing erection waving alone and lonely in the breeze, but free and unfettered, with the man perhaps occasionally breaking wind. Alternatively, all these different styles of using the erection as a tool and everything in between them may have been the intent as「erection styles, different manner, customs.」
