「Woody stub, peg array in hand of female」describes a WIDOW with no sexual partners, or, a female who has found that loving herself satisfies sufficiently. Perhaps a harem concubine (a herd meat asset) after her owner dies.
　A「woman not yet forced out from living beneath the tribal cliff or tossed off of one」was a widow still living with the tribe. Senicide or geronticide was common among ancient human society, so an elderly widow may not have been permitted to remain in many cases unless able to contribute to the alpha male in some manner:
