「Hand」and「person with bird」to mean GOOSE. Somewhat abstruse, refers to the kind of「bird used by people while held in hand」variously at work (but only the boss), or at parties and small get-togethers, primarily by GOOSING the animal's cloaca, that is, copulating with the animal…see the related glyphs. Perhaps the reason folks went「wild while goose chasing」and why the birds acquired traits of instinctively fleeing while screeching and defecating as a human approaches (natural selection at work, again). By the way, this glyph depicts one of the first spectator-oriented party games since it causes hysterical laughter among guests as the goose attempts to escape the grasp of the copulating human, and is still a favorite theme of Northern European erotic films.
