Metal plating usually helps a metal object appear newer,「younger, more fertile, desirable」and historically was accomplished by a sudden rush of molten metal fluid washing over the surface of another metallic object, or by hot-dipping, galvanizing「metal, downward thrusting and spurting.」Today, more often a chemical process is employed rather than the physical process of pouring molten material over another body to cover it with a layer of, well, whatever:「fluid flow of youths, gushers of people thrusting penis with rod emissions」as they surround a service provider. TO GILD in English has the archaic meaning of「to smear a fluid over the surface of something that later hardens as it cools and dries」such as blood, or semen, or slurry, or all three.
