かつては「振り回される犬の陰茎」が2回描かれていました（戔）。または婉曲的に「振り回される2本の槍」と表現され、おそらく戦闘員が2人だけであること、したがって狭い範囲で、戦場全体の狭い部分または視野でのみ戦闘が行われることを表しています。さらに、各白兵戦で一方が勝利し、もう一方が敗北すると仮定すると、戦闘員の数は少なくなり、戦場は狭くなります。一番上の「犬、槍」は、2本の槍で、2本の槍は、2人の兵士の間でのみ戦闘が行われることを意味します。簡略化され、1画（古い字体）または2画（新しい字体）に置き換えられ、「犬の陰茎、繰り返される槍」を意味します。犬の陰茎と陰茎の陰茎の組み合わせを繰り返し使用すると、その後の適用ごとに結果が小さく狭くなる可能性が高く、これは戦場での遭遇についても言えることであり、戦士は疲れて、その日の早い時間ほど槍や武器を振り回すことができなくなります。

Formerly「swinging dog penis」drawn twice (戔) or euphemistically,「two swinging lances」perhaps to indicate a battle between only two combatants, hence occurring in a SMALL area and only a NARROW part or view of the whole battlefield. Moreover, assuming in each hand-to-hand battle that one is the victor and the other is vanquished, the number of combatants becomes SMALLER and the field of battle will NARROW. The top「dog, lance」has been simplified and replaced by either one (older fonts) or two (newer fonts) strokes meaning「dog penis, lance that is repeated」and the repeated use of a dog's penis and baculum combo is likely to produce a SMALLER and NARROWED outcome with each subsequent application, which also might be said of battlefield encounters as the warrior tires and becomes unable to swing his lance or weapon as far as he did earlier in the day.
　Note that when this glyph is used as an element in some Japanese glyph variants and fonts, an additional「repeated」stroke is included that also seems to form the element「prick」(龶), or「many times many strokes pubic hairs」(彡) merged within「a spearing dog baculum」(弋), and the pubic hair region does indeed BECOME NARROWER as must any prick with a tapered tip, such as a thorn.

Always keep in mind that these glyphs were originally created by groups of bored old men as vulgar riddles and analogies for their own entertainment (see 籒 for that) and represented Chinese society many thousands of years ago, and not as a written or spoken language. If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system. Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles? Yes! It is! Sex had no shame in ancient China. Why would it? And now, there is a cover-up. No one is suggesting these glyphs depict contemporary life in China, Japan, or anywhere else. This site describes glyph meanings, not people. These glyphs however, describe many and various things, including people, long before there were any notions of becoming politically incorrect.
