Glyph elements  [ Toggle Font ]

Meanings of elements
TRINKET, BAUBLE, CHEAP CUTE AND SAFE with FILLED COMPLETELY, PERFECT SCREWING and EMISSIONS SPLASHING DOWN
…or: RESPITE, TAKING A BREAK, BECOMING REACQUAINTED with FEMALE, WOMAN, GIRL
…or: DELIBERATELY OUT OF REACH FEMALE with WOODY
…or: SAFE, CHEAP, EASY with WOODY
…or: an IN-HOME FEMALE for WOODY
…or: TO DWELL with a FEMALE
…or: PEACEFUL, RESTFUL, EASE, CONTENTMENT TAKING A BREAK with CANNABIS
「To dwell with a female」needs no further explanation as PONDER, to PLAN, CONSIDER DEEPLY, a PROPOSAL.
「Safely, cheaply, and easily」with「screwing emissions」as a reason to PONDER or to PLAN, CONSIDER DEEPLY various IDEAS and PROPOSALS among a tribal or family group, also as「at home, out-of-reach with female and woody.」It was a good IDEA to maintain a RECORD of CASES during which a「safe woody」ensued with no repercussions of sessions「deliberately out-of-reach with female and screwing emissions」at least for the purpose of later performing contact tracing, if need be.
Concept of a PLATFORM PLANK is related possibly to a literal interpretation of modern elements as「safe wood」smoothed and with splinters removed, a later meaning used after the advent of sanding and shaping technologies. Note that in English also, a「tabled」matter formerly meant that it was under consideration, being planned, thinking about ideas, proposals, suggestions (later, the meaning in English shifted to 'postponed,' literally a long stiff vertical wood that is loafing and presently neglected). Some fonts replace「cannabis」() with「plant, tree, woody」leading to some crazy mnemonics, so have fun.
「Safely, cheaply, and easily」with「cannabis, herbs」to PONDER or to PLAN, CONSIDER DEEPLY various IDEAS and PROPOSALS from tribal members for how to obtain「safely, cheaply, and easily」what was necessary for survival (see the glyph「civilization」that depicts torches used in caves made from bound cannabis stalks, …burning torches emit smoke as well as light). Note that one effect of cannabis use would have been to cause early humans to THINK DEEPLY and THINK BROADLY while connecting seemingly unrelated concepts in order to form NEW IDEAS, things not yet tried before. Some sources claim that widespread cannabis use among early humans was the cause of cannabinoid receptors to evolve within the human brain, giving rise to the ability to THINK BROADLY AND DEEPLY, PLAN, and PONDER as the original spark of all of human intelligence…yet, those same sources seldom mention that rats, cats, dogs, and other animals have cannabinoid receptors in their brains, too. Some evidence suggests that when the cannabinoid receptors are engaged, the usual paths of synaptic transmissions in the brain are interrupted [ https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/22579668/ 2023-05-18 ]
Hence some folks begin to 'think differently' by making unusual synaptic connections while under the influence of cannabis, having new ideas rather than simply memories of what has already been learned.
「Cannabis use both helps and hurts entrepreneurial creativity…While the results of the study suggest the effects of [cannabis] use may have some benefits in the early brainstorming stages of the venture ideation process, the researchers stressed the importance of grounding creativity in reality to successfully launch a new company.」

Always keep in mind that these glyphs were originally created by groups of clever old men as vulgar riddles and analogies for their own entertainment (see 籒 for that) and represented Chinese society many thousands of years ago, and not as a written or spoken language. If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system. Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles? Yes! It is! Sex had no shame in ancient China. Why would it? And now, there is a cover-up. No one is suggesting these glyphs depict contemporary life in China, Japan, or anywhere else. This site describes glyph meanings, not people. These glyphs however, describe many and various things, including people, long before there were any notions of becoming politically incorrect. The question to be answered is, should these glyphs continue being used, by anyone, anywhere, for expressing language? (More...) Despite how bad the human world is today, do you actually believe that the so-called good old days were any better? Or they could only have been worse?

By the way, with a limited number of the same elements used by the sages again and again to form these glyphs, you should expect to find the same explanations again and again, as tedious as that may become, and as an inherent trait of any dictionary. This site explains the dual meanings of glyphs most often ignored by other sources that provide you with only the sanctioned definition, generally.
