Although significantly altered biologically today due to sustained breeding for traits over many millennia, domesticated wolves are today known as 'dogs' (same family: Canidae). Wolves, males as dogs and females as bitches, are actually canids. A「dog-like sitting person all night like a statue in the shaman's shrine of multiple service providers」became known as a WOLF, e.g., the original wolf of the infamous English「wolf whistle」: see 哨. These「good animal beasts」have been tagged as humanity's best friends in some cultures.
