「Plant plucked」depicts a plant, particularly the rape mustard plant, a green leafy vegetable. Also any sort of dish of food eaten as an accompaniment with alcohol (only drinking alcohol with no food is generally impolite in Japan, in addition to being a poor strategy as you will generally become intoxicated quickly).
　「Emerging shafts as repeatedly dazzling woodies」or more likely「plucked from emerging shafts」needs no explanation as LONG CHOPSTICKS after considering similar glyphs with the meaning of chopsticks used to grasp anything one would not touch directly with bare hands due to proper etiquette, disgust, or the risk of transfer of the infection: limp, leaf-like, vegetative and green.
　A condition of torpor one often gets after partying too much, the next morning as a hangover and about five days later causing some trips to the clinic.
　A SIDE DISH as something that is served together with the main course when it comes, whether part of the original service order, or not…an accompanying dish (皿), using elements of「poultice netting laid out horizontally」in a tray to conduct an inspection of its contents that resembles a large, green, stinky boiled leaf complete with dressing「plucked from emerging shafts」…and so on.

Always keep in mind that these glyphs were originally created by groups of clever old men as vulgar riddles and analogies for their own entertainment (see 籒 for that) and represented Chinese society many thousands of years ago, and not as a written or spoken language. If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system. Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles?
