It was said to always be able to differentiate between good and evil, immediately goring to death the bad guys with its solitary horn.
　The myths go on and on, but the most astounding characteristic is that the unicorn was so sensitive, it was able to walk on water, and did so whenever it departed, but only if any body with fluid flowing water was nearby…some sources suggest it stood in the back of the line with other mendicants waiting for handouts.
　The unicorn was the symbol of China's first law-giver, Emperor Shun as a「beast with one horn」(yet, a horn not appearing upon his forehead), and appeared at court with only a moment's notice, springing up when summoned. Buddhists portrayed the unicorn as the bearer of the Civilizing Book of the Law for an association with religion…doesn't say where exactly on its person the big book was carried, but the glyph for「religious law」retains the elements「flow of anal stink」within (the Taoist sages disliked religion, and in particular, Buddhists).
　These tales are reminiscent of another relatively famous irreligious Jew who brought new laws to humans and was rumored to be able to walk upon water. Mention also ought to be made of venerable Master Chun who was not only able to walk upon water himself, but to instruct other mortals how to do so.
