Perhaps formerly「proper sequence」with「flight, fly」(飜) and no longer a fledgling, meaning to FLIP OVER, TURN ONTO THE OPPOSITE SIDE, a continuation of activities depicted in the「proper sequence」element for a「concubine in training」who needs to learn how to copulate in all positions, with all orifices plugged. Note that reversing the order of 'planting rice' as some suggest is not possible without killing the seedlings.

If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system. Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles?
