Perhaps source of the English term 'deep six', elements of「drown, sunk surrounded by six, palming emissions」with DRIZZLE falling all around the guy in the floor performing various functions for others standing above. As the SEA or an OCEAN, likely a reference to how prevalent this condition is, since a whole lot of rained-down drizzle droplets from the clouds are what comprises all the seas of the world.
　Right element specifically refers to the「darkness, ignorance and stupidity associated with frequenting the shaman's cave o' wonders.」Drizzle is a steady flow of small droplets. The sea receives all flows but is never full, meaning a boatload of drizzle. Both refer to the drip, drip, drip of excess pecker gleet extant among humanity and spread by the cave's service providers and clients, despite the shaman's best efforts as witch doctor. Note that the Japanese pronunciation of both 'sea' (海) and 'pus' (膿) are identical with this glyph as うみ (umi), perhaps coincidentally, but pus might be thought of DRIZZLING more often than does the sea, particularly with cases of rigor mortis. Always keep in mind that these glyphs were originally created by groups of bored old men as vulgar riddles and analogies for their own entertainment (see 籒 for that) and represented Chinese society many thousands of years ago, and not as a written or spoken language. If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system. Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles? Yes! It is! Sex had no shame in ancient China. Why would it? And now, there is a cover-up. No one is suggesting these glyphs depict contemporary life in China, Japan, or anywhere else.
