【 https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/jun/18/chinese-academic-suspended-for-advocating-polygamy 2021-06-19 】

「One」and「end, complete, ejaculation」are combined, signifying ONE COMPLETE CYCLE. A CHILD (see 偅) also represents one human generation, or one complete cycle of human life. Also, the count of「one ejaculation, one complete session start to finish」necessary to conceive a child, SPERMATOZOA. This glyph also means the year of the RAT, the first of the Chinese zodiac, again depicting the complete calendrical cycle has just ended, among other concepts (see 鼬 for details). Perhaps only a coincidence, but evolutionists also describe that human being evolved from mammalian rodents after most of the large dinosaurs died in their most recent extinction event that occurred about 65 million years ago. Note that while this glyph meaning CHILD and the glyph「maggot, larva」are slightly different, these elements are sometimes swapped.
Significantly, the glyph meaning「to like, what is liked」combines 'female' with 'child' (好), i.e., female children. While still a CHILD:「…[T]he custom of applying painfully tight binding to the feet of young girls to prevent further growth. …The process was started before the arch of the foot had a chance to develop fully, usually between the ages of 2 and 5. …Qing Dynasty sex manuals listed 48 different ways of playing with [female] bound feet.」

「Until the Chinese communists took power in 1949, bigamy, concubinage and child marriage were commonplace. In 1950, Beijing enacted a new law that outlawed these practices. The law also enforced monogamy in an effort to make women more equal to men in Chinese society.」 [ https://www.theguardian.com/world/2021/jun/18/chinese-academic-suspended-for-advocating-polygamy 2021-06-19 ]

Always keep in mind that these glyphs were originally created by groups of bored old men as vulgar riddles and analogies for their own entertainment
(see 籒 for that)
and represented Chinese society many thousands of years ago, and not as a written or spoken language.
If these glyphs had been intended for language use, the sages could not have possibly designed a worse system.
Is it truly possible that all these glyphs started out as off-color jokes and puzzles? Yes! It is!
Sex had no shame in ancient China. Why would it? And now, there is a cover-up.
No one is suggesting these glyphs depict contemporary life in China, Japan, or anywhere else.
This site describes glyph meanings, not people.
These glyphs however, describe many and various things, including people, long before there were any notions of becoming politically incorrect.
The question to be answered is, should these glyphs continue being used, by anyone, anywhere, for expressing language?
Despite how bad the human world is today, do you actually believe that the so-called good old days were any better? Or they could only have been worse?
By the way, with a limited number of the same elements used by the sages again and again to form these glyphs,
you should expect to find the same explanations again and again, as tedious as that may become, and as an inherent trait of any dictionary.
This site explains the dual meanings of glyphs most often ignored by other sources that provide you with only the sanctioned definition, generally.
